In the latest quarterly report by Activision Blizzard we not only find news on the negotiation with Microsoft for the acquisition but also updates on the development of Diablo 4 , the expected RPG that will plunge us back into the dark atmospheres of Sanctuarium on PC and console.
The representatives of the North American publisher open a small but significant communication window on the Diablo 4 project and, with a note taken from the report, underline how “Development on Diablo 4 and Overwatch® 2 is also progressing well. Company-wide internal testing of Diablo 4 is underway” .
The note also recalls the start of the second Beta of Overwatch 2 , a testing phase that will see the lucky participants in this test try their hand at PvP challenges starting tomorrow, Tuesday 26 April.
Returning to Diablo 4, the financial report of Activision Blizzard does not provide further clarification on the timing of marketing: as regards the gameplay news , the latest details shared by the developers therefore remain those pitted by Blizzard Entertainment at the end of April with strictly in- engine and the information offered by the development diary on Diablo 4 environments and open worlds .
