Developers confirmed work on significant changes to Diablo 2 Resurrected. The plans include refreshing the lobby, which will probably meet with positive reactions from the console part of the community that has been plagued by this element of the game since its premiere.
The remastered version of the iconic second installment of the series debuted with considerable difficulties caused by the terrible operation of the servers, but the team responsible for the title took care of improving the production. Diablo 2 Resurrected has already received the first major update , which introduced, among others, four versions of ladders and took care of balance. However, this is not the end of work on the project.
It was announced on the Blizzard forum that in the coming weeks the game will receive a new patch that will include improvements in the lobby – the authors will improve the operation of the element on PC and will offer some modifications in the console edition.
“The team has been working on a pretty significant update for the game that will improve the PC lobby experience while also incorporating a major overhaul of the lobby system on the console version of D2R.
We expect this to be in the coming weeks. Once we have more details on the exact date, we will be sharing that here on our forums.“
Diablo 2 Resurrected on consoles can probably get a well-known PC system, thanks to which users can freely choose servers – so far, on PlayStation, Microsoft and Nintendo devices, it was decided to automatically join the game. The adopted strategy was widely criticized by the audience, to which the publisher responded by announcing that he would look at all opinions and proposals. Apparently, the company took players’ reactions to heart.
Refreshed production hit the market last year, but Blizzard continues to further improve the community experience.
