To unlock the Terror Zones feature, you must defeat Baal per character.
Blizzard continues to develop Diablo 2 Resurrected. The production received update 2.5 today, which offers some nice activities. On October 6, players will be able to compete in the second season of the competition.
If you turn on Diablo 2 Resurrected today, you’ll be greeted with an update that will test your skills in, among others, the Terror Zones – a brand new proposition has been hidden under this name.
Blizzard wants to provide players with a more enjoyable competition and the developers have prepared special locations that randomly appear in the game world – those interested can jump into the given places and then face more difficult rivals.
“We want the journey to level 99 to be accessible to a larger population of players, offer more variety other than repeatedly farming Baal, Diablo, and Nihlathak, and most importantly, remain challenging. This is where Terror Zones come in. “
Terror zones will be available to players who kill Baal at least once, and then turn on the ranked competition on subsequent characters – thanks to this, the monsters in the spots will be “at least two levels higher” than the hero.
Blizzard also emphasizes that Season 2 will begin on October 6, so players will be able to compete again in the leaderboards to be the first players on the servers to reach the maximum level.
There will also be new talismans in the game that will allow you to reduce the resistance of enemies to a specific type of damage – thanks to this, our hero will be able to face even enemies who are particularly resistant to character attacks. However, the creators emphasize that the prepared items will not only reduce the resistance of enemies, but also heroes.
