Capcom has unveiled the overall sales of Devil May Cry 5, which managed to surpass those of Devil May Cry 4 over the long haul.
Capcom has unveiled the total sales of Devil May Cry 5 made up to December 31, 2021: 5 million copies . This is the best result for a chapter in the series, which surpasses that of Devil May Cry 4, which stands at 4.8 million copies.
Devil May Cry 5 launched on March 8, 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In 2020, the Special Edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S was launched, while in 2021 the game arrived on Luna, Amazon’s subscription cloud gaming service.
The latest Devil May Cry has therefore seen the release of several versions and has recorded sales of 100,000 / 200,000 units in the last few quarters, proving to be a long-running hit.
