A player in FromSoftware’s new open-world adventure title manages to defeat the Hound Knight Darriwil, an optional boss, in a first round using Nintendo’s Ring-Con.
Elden Ring , FromSoftware’s new hit that has sold over 10 million copies on Steam , is already getting its first mods on PC. Among the most notable, in addition to the one that allows you to pause the game , we find a mod that allows you to play the new Hidetaka Miyazaki using the Ring-Con , a kind of pilates ring with a sensor and a space to attach a Joy-Con that released Nintendo exclusively to enjoy Ring Fit Adventure . As reported from Nintendo Life , a player has managed to defeat one of the many bosses that we can find in the title using the Ring-Con in a first attempt.
“We beat a boss on the first try with the Ring Fit mod , ” comments the user known as Tarnished Louis 64. As we can see in the attached video, he manages to defeat the Hound Knight Darriwil in a first round , one of the multiple optional bosses that we can find in the game, using only his ability with the Ring-Con. As we can see in the same video, the player managed to adapt the controls in the following way: the attached Joy-Con is used to attack and control the direction of the character, while the movement is activated by running in real life and healing by doing squats .
An addition to the difficulty of Elden Ring
In the user’s biography we can read that he is dedicated to making all kinds of mods and that this mod to use the Ring-Con is one of his creations. As he himself explains, this is an attempt to adapt the Ring Fit Adventure controls to Elden Ring in the best possible way . If you own a Ring-Con and you want to try this curious mod , you will be happy to know that the user promises to explain the operation of this system in detail soon and it is likely that he will release it so that other players can try it. Of course, it is an addition that can increase the difficulty of a title that already focuses on the challenge .
