There is only one week left for the classic horror and science fiction video game Dead Space to return in the form of a remake, which will come from Electronic Arts, Visceral Games, and Motive, being released for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S.
Game that apparently will not only impact players again with moments of terror and tension, since these scenes within this remake “built from scratch” will be even more horrifying according to its own developers, who indicate that they have not been able to play Dead Space at night, since they are too scared.
According to Motive Studios technical director David Robillard tells PLAY magazine’s issue #22, “When I’m playing it at night, I can’t play it with headphones. It’s just too scary”
“Just the amount of realism and, again, atmosphere. Not just visually, right? In the way we handle sound, ambience, effects, having systems that will try to spook you. These things, you know, could have been done [on PS4], but not to the level we’re doing them today. And they really add a lot to this sort of genre and make the whole kind of experience come together even more.”

Something that in any case could be read as advertising, but seeing the progress that shows part of the gameplay, their sayings must have some truth and this will surely increase the hype of those who are waiting for this remake.
Dead Space is released on the market this January 27, 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
