In Australia, the remake of Dead Space and The Callisto Protocol has been given age ratings . Judging by them, the updated horror EA will be less rigid than the new game from its creator. The local regulator gave Dead Space an MA (15+) rating, while The Callisto Protocol received an R (18+) rating.

Based on the description of the ratings, the content of both games has a very strong impact in terms of mature themes, but The Callisto Protocol received a stricter R rating in terms of showing violence . According to the grading committee, content of this level is intended only for adults, as it contains elements that may be offensive to certain age groups.
The regulator indicates that Dead Space contains elements of science fiction and horror, as well as images of suicides, mutilated corpses, and demonic non-human enemies. Meanwhile, in The Callisto Protocol, the player will have to fight monsters that used to be people, but for some unknown reason mutated into scary creatures.
It is also noted that the battles in the games are accompanied by an abundance of blood, there is a place for obscene language. Online interactivity is absent in both.
The Callisto Protocol releases December 2nd and Dead Space releases January 27th.
