This was pointed out by an authoritative dataminer, who also suggested that Leatherface was going to be removed due to the upcoming release of a full-fledged game based on the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise .
“Goodbye Bubba, enjoy your last months in the fog. I’ll forever miss you camping me in the basement,” the dataminer wrote on Twitter.
In addition, players noticed that Bubba’s perks were renamed in the latest public beta. Also noteworthy is that all characters are now discounted on Steam, with the exception of Leatherface, which is set to a regular price.
