According to the latest rumours, Cyberpunk 2077 could feature new characters from the Netflix series Edgerunners.
New hidden content has been discovered in the data of Cyberpunk 2077. This results in new rumors for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 DLC Phantom Liberty, with the biggest budget ever invested by CD Projekt Red.
Of particular interest are the discoveries made by Reddit user Acrobatic_Internal_2, who dug up an unfinished quest log referencing a few names and organizations from the acclaimed anime.
Most notably, the entry “%DLC_MAIN% : CASINO WARFARE” which challenges the player to call Falco, a main character from the anime, and watch a “BD by NightCorp”. A found quest log even refers to the legendary “Netrunner Alt Cunningham”.
What the rumors really are remains to be seen. But it’s likely that CD Projekt Red is trying to bridge the worlds of the two stories.
