Updates Lumia has hinted at what’s coming for Age of Empires 4. The Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One versions are finally on the way.
Age of Empires 4 seems to be finally coming to Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One according to the latest Lumia Updates report on Twitter.
For the uninitiated, Lumia Updates is an account that monitors changes in the Microsoft Store and in the past on many occasions has revealed in advance and with great precision release dates, file sizes or even the addition of new games in the store.
Now the Deep Throat has published a series of images of games coming or recently arrived on Xbox via the Game Pass, the last of which immortalizes an artwork of Age of Empires 4, thus suggesting the publication of the long-awaited console versions.
A few days before the release of Age of Empires 4, World’s Edge’s Adam Isgreen confirmed Microsoft’s interest in making an Xbox port of the strategic , with developers starting to work on it after managing the launch on PC. Always Updates Lumia in January 2022 had found files presumably related to the Xbox versions of Age of Empires 4 in the Microsoft store, while in April references to multiplayer on consoles appeared on the page dedicated to the PC version .
The times could therefore be ripe, with the official announcement of the Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One versions of Age of Empires that could arrive at Gamescom 2022 , during the Xbox event or even tonight at the Opening Night Live, conducted by Geoff Keighley.
