Details and release date for Gwent: Rogue Mage
Gwent: Rogue Mage is the newest game in the Witcher universe from CD Projekt RED. This is basically an expansion for the multiplayer Gwent, but it will be sold separately and will focus on singleplayer gameplay in addition. Speaking of sales, the release date of Gwent: Rogue Mage has been set for … tomorrow (07/07/2022). The game will be available on PC and mobile devices with Android and iOS. The basic edition is priced at $ 9.99, while the Premium version with additional skins, cosmetic items and cards will cost you $ 19.99.

According to IGN , Gwent: Rogue Mage (formerly known as Project Golden Nekker) is a deckbuilder with roguelike elements. The game was created mainly for people who fell in love with Gwent in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which only offered singleplayer gameplay. In the game, we will play well-known characters such as Yennefer, Dandelion or Zoltan, but for the game we will use cards from the multiplayer version of Gwent.

According to Vladimir Tortsov, the game’s director, it should take players roughly 30 hours to assemble and complete whatever they can in Gwent: Rogue Mage. On the other hand, the gameplay is designed so that individual sessions can last about an hour.

Gwent: Rogue Mage takes place hundreds of years before the well-known Geralt of Rivia was born. The main character of the story is the magician Alzur, who is trying to create the first Witcher. During the game, we will visit the procedurally generated map, we will take part in many Gwent games, we will be forced to make morally difficult decisions and we will visit many Places of Power and other locations where we will be able to strengthen our cards. Contrary to appearances, Gwent: Rogue Mage puts a lot of emphasis on the story.
