One of the creators of the PayDay series and the GTFO game revealed that his studio 10 Chambers is in the process of developing a new game. It will be a cooperative FPP shooter. As he admitted, the idea is so good that the developers simply had to start implementing it.
New game from PayDay and GTFO developers
Ulf Andersson is the creative director and CEO of 10 Chambers, whose portfolio includes work on the PayDay and GTFO series. In an interview for NME, he admitted that his team is currently working on a new cooperative shooter, the theme of which will be the attacks and widely understood criminal activities known and liked by players.
As Andersson admitted, the upcoming game will be something of a techno-thriller. During the game, the tension and action will be properly dosed, like in Left 4 Dead, and not like in PayDay – there the pace of action was constantly increasing, not slowing down even for a moment. Therefore, a mature title is being prepared, while at the same time referring to the cooperation themes loved by players.
When is the premiere? Even the CEO of the studio does not know it, because production is currently at a too early stage. The name of the game also remains unknown.
