Zack Snyder had a very ambitious plan to develop the DC Extended Universe. Now he revealed which antagonists from Batman comics he wanted to present in full-length productions.
Recently, Batman has gotten exceptionally loud – all thanks to the upcoming next year’s premiere of “The Batman” by Matt Reeves . The previous film incarnation was from Zack Snyder, but given the reception of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, it wasn’t a very positive incarnation of the Batman.
However, it is no secret that the aforementioned Zack Snyder had huge plans for the development of the DC Extended Universe. Suffice it to say that he assumed the creation of a five-film saga, the culmination of which would be “Justice League 2” and “Justice League 3”. The issues of his ideas for filming comic books are confirmed by a recent interview in which he revealed three antagonists that he would like to put on Batman’s shoulders :
Certainly so [The Penguin was one of the characters considered – ed. ed.]. Of course, Catwoman is someone we planned on, and we also had the Riddler concept that we talked about quite seriously.
Interestingly, we will see all three in the upcoming film with Robert Pattinson in the lead role. The penguin will be played by the great Colin Farrell, the role of Catwoman will be played by Zoe Kravitz, and the role of the Riddler (the Riddler) will be played by Paul Dano . Even so, I must admit that I am curious to know what Zack Snyder’s plan was for these Batman enemies. Given his approach, we would undoubtedly be given the most extreme options!
