Netflix’s The Witcher offers viewers many interesting threads, but Netflix wanted to colorize the production with a few additional threads. As a last resort, the bisexual scene with Lambert was cut out, but thanks to Redanianintelligence we got to know the details.
Redanianintelligence is a reliable source of information on the “The Witcher” universe from Netflix. The informants are the first to provide behind-the-scenes details or materials, and it is this editorial office that received the details of the cut scenes.
I warn you about spoilers from the 2nd season of “The Witcher” from Netflix

Geralt and Triss
A few months ago, Redanianintelligence reported on the sex scene between Geralt and Triss, which was supposed to appear sometime in the middle of season 2. As a last resort, the plot was cut, but the informants confirm that the heroes were supposed to be playing “some strange game” – the winner of the round may ask the other person a question. The events were supposed to take an interesting course and as a last resort Geralt and Triss should end up in bed. Why was the thread cut? It is very possible that this was due to Henry Cavill, who is not in favor of adding a lot of new threads and changing Andrzej Sapkowski’s story.
Currently, Netflix only showed one cut scene with Triss, but this is not the one expected:

Ciri has a crush on Triss
Redanianintelligence confirms that in the second season of “The Witcher” Netflix wanted to deepen the topic of the sexuality of Ciri, who was supposed to have a crush on Triss. As a last resort, the young princess only complements the woman’s outfit, but in the series we were supposed to see Ciri’s “subtle but jealous reactions”, who does not quite like Triss’s relationship with Geralt.
Ciri was even supposed to wear a men’s shirt (similar to the one Geralt wears) to “subtly impress Triss” , but other people teased her – in the end, we actually see a similar situation, but the princess wears the gown.

Bisexual Lambert
Netflix also wanted to deepen the sexuality of Lambert, who in the hot Kaer Morhen scene was to play with two characters – a woman and a man. As a last resort, there were two women. Where is the problem? Netflix has reportedly not found a suitable actor to star in a scene with Lambert.

The character of Eskel
Many viewers complain about the casting and Eskel’s behavior, but it turns out that in the original version this character was supposed to be even more annoying. It is supposedly because of the improvement of the character’s image that in the third episode there is a flashback with Geralt, so that the viewers get to know him better and maybe even like him.

Flashback: Young Vesemir, young Geralt and Deglan
The second season of “The Witcher” lacks scenes thanks to which we could get to know the heroes better – especially the witchers. It turns out that Netflix made a flashback featuring young Geralt and Vesimir, but in the end, we only see the eyes of the Butcher of Blaviken and hear his mentor’s voice. Young Geralt, Young Vesemir and Deglan were played by Alexander Squires, James Baxter and Tamer Hassan respectively.
Countess de Stael
In the second season of “The Witcher” Dandelion’s first muse was supposed to appear – Countess de Stael was probably cut on the finishing straight, but Redanianintelligence is not sure exactly at what point we should see the character.

Revenge of Roach
As you know, Płotka dies in one of the fights (by far the worst duel), but it turns out that Netflix wanted to take advantage of her death. Geralt was to collect the bones from the horse’s corpse to use it to kill the monster – the scene was called “Roach’s Revenge”. As a last resort, Geralt used classic weapons.
Stregobor and Vilgefortz
