Journalist Jeff Snyder reported that Warner Bros. is working on a new animated movie “Batman Beyond”, which should be the answer to “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.”
According to Jeff, the animated film went into production before DC Films’ reshuffle, when Walter Hamada was running the company. The journalist does not know what state the project is in now, and does not rule out that it could have been cancelled. Earlier, we note that Warner Bros. curtailed the development of six animated series at once.
At the end of January, we recall, Warner Bros. announced five new films based on DC comics at once: Superman: Legacy, The Authorities, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, and Swamp Thing.
