While the third season of The Witcher, filmed in September , is in post-production, the fantasy show’s writers are already hard at work adapting Andrzej Sapkowski’s fantasy novels for the fourth and fifth seasons, which, as previously reported, plan to shoot simultaneously.
According to the Redanian Intelligence portal , the script preparation process for the next seasons began in October of this year, and the writing team still includes Lauren Hissrich , Maika Ostrovsky , Tanya Lotia , Hayley Hall , Ray Benjamin , Claire Higgins , Javier Grillo-Marxuach , Matthew D’Ambrosio and Troy Dangerfield.
The third season of The Witcher, starring Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra and Freya Alan, will premiere in 2023, while the prequel The Witcher: Origins is expected to be released in December of this year.
