Two new entries awaiting the end of production of the HBO show.
The Last of Us will become an HBO and Naughty Dog TV series in 2022, thus bringing the dramatic adventures of Joel and Ellie to the small screen.
Inspired by the classic released on PS3 several years ago, the show will tell the story of the two survivors in the post-apocalyptic world, with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as the two main characters.
Ramsey would have confirmed a few days ago that the series will arrive no later than the year , hoping it will not be postponed due to problems related to the pandemic.
Now, after the official confirmation that the series will also tell the events of the Left Behind DLC , now comes a new confirmation about two new directors who will be in charge of directing the episodes of The Last of Us .
As also reported on Reddit , Liza Johnson and Jeremy Webb have in fact joined the direction of the post-apocalyptic series.
The new authors then join the previously announced directors, namely Kantemir Balagov, Ali Abbasi, Jasmila Zbanic, Craig Mazin, Peter Hoar and Neil Druckmann , the latter also the original scriptwriter of the game.
Johnson has directed numerous episodes of series such as Silicon Valley, What We Do in the Shadows and The Sex Lives of College Girls . Webb has instead dealt with the direction of episodes of shows such as Marvel’s The Punisher , Altered Carbon and The Umbrella Academy .
The cast of confirmed actors currently sees the presence of Pedro Pascal (Joel), Bella Ramsey (Ellie), Nick Offerman (Bill) and Storm Reid as Riley.
Staying on the subject, have you admired what appears to be a real isometric version of the first The Last of Us , made by a particularly skilled fan?
