Last week, as part of a special Direct presentation, Nintendo showed the second trailer for The Super Mario Bros. movie . The length of the film hasn’t been officially revealed yet, but if the leak is to be believed, don’t expect a long runtime.

According to game journalist Jeff Gerstmann, a full view of The Super Mario Bros. Movie will take viewers only 86 minutes (1:26:00) , which is comparable to “Minions: Gruvitation” – the last cartoon released at the moment by Illumination , which is responsible for creating the film adaptation of Mario. According to Gerstmann, this duration was listed in the project description in internal documents associated with the painting.
Theatrical premiere of The Super Mario Bros. Movie will take place on April 7, 2023, but according to Gerstmann, the film will be available for home viewing via streaming services as early as May 11 . After another two months, in July, the airlines should receive the tape in their catalogs.
