During the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, Actress Rosario Dawson hinted that Bernthal may also be returning as The Punisher for a Disney+ series. However, it doesn’t look like she’s 100% sure yet.
I found out yesterday that The Punisher is coming back and I feel like this is my second chance because it’s the only show I haven’t appeared in and I love Jon Bernthal.

It’s unclear what Dawson’s words about the return of the Punisher are based on. At the end of July, Marvel spoke about the lineup of upcoming films and series, which included the show Daredevil: Born Again with Charlie Cox, but there was no mention of the Punisher in it.
It’s possible that Dawson accidentally mentioned working on the series, not knowing that Marvel hasn’t talked about it publicly yet. Either the actress mistakenly thought about the return of The Punisher after the announcement of the sequel to Daredevil.
Anyway, this is the first information about the possible return of the series with Jon Bernthal in the title role.
