‘Wednesday’ star Percy Hynes White has been accused of sexual harassment by several women. The incident allegedly happened when the actor was still attending high school in Toronto.
The creators of ” Wednesday ” have something to be happy about: the series has just received an order for the second season, it also collects numerous nominations for awards. However, a large spoonful of tar has just appeared in this barrel of honey – Percy Hynes White, who plays Xavier, has been accused of sexual harassment by several women. Will the actor appear in the 2nd season of the series?
Wednesday – Percy Hynes White accused of sexual harassment
The accusations surfaced on Twitter. The post was written by user @milkievich who also shared accusations from other women. As we read in high school, White and a group of his friends organized parties – boys invited girls they thought were “sexy enough” to get drunk and high enough to have sex with them. Some of the girls were supposed to be between the ages of 13 and 16 when these situations occurred.
Percy Hynes White was also supposed to be aggressive and intimidate girls who did not want anything to do with him or rejected his proposals. In response to the allegations, numerous other accusations surfaced on Twitter, including disturbing photos of the actor naked that he sent in private messages to underage girls. @milkievich in his tweets explains that he wants to raise awareness of White’s exploits towards women, because after the huge success of “Wednesday” there are certainly many girls who became his fans – and he wants to warn them.
Fans of the series did not wait long and are already calling on Netflix to remove White from the cast of “Wednesday”. Official accusations against White have not yet been received, and it is not known how Netflix will solve the whole situation.
