In an interview with Variety, actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who plays Valentine Allegra de Fontaine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealed that Thunderbolts will begin filming this June.
Louis-Dreyfus also hinted that her character will take part in action scenes :
“I actually pitched it,” Louis-Dreyfus said, “I told them I really, really want to fight. We’ll see if that happens. I haven’t seen the script yet.” Ugh. I’d better get in shape.”
The comic book movie directed by Jake Schreier will premiere on July 24, 2024 .
Valentina previously appeared in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier miniseries and the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Black Widow films .
The Thunderbolts officially consist of the following characters : Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Black Widow (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbor), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis -Dreyfus) and US Agent (Wyatt Russell).
