Henry Cavill is one of the most sought-after actors right now, and he’s been even louder than usual this past week. All thanks to the departure from the “Witcher” universe from Netflix. The information fell like a bolt from the blue and has already caused thousands of comments about people quitting the show after the third season, because “it will not be the same anymore”.
Such a radical step made many people look for other options for communing with the great actor. There are various titles in which it could appear. One was even so loud that he decided to refer to it himself. From the very title of the news, you know very well that we are talking about “The Dragon Family”, and therefore the latest spin-off of “Game of Thrones” – Henry expressed his will to play, but admitted that such a situation is unlikely to happen :
“I think it would be nice to be in Westeros, I really do. But I don’t think there’s a place for me there. To be fair, when I was watching House of the Dragon, I was like ‘I feel like a lot of these guys could make really good Witchers.’”
Of course, this is not a complete rejection of such an option, but we can be sure that it will not happen in the near future. But what the future holds, nobody knows. The actor has admitted that he watches House of the Dragon and is a big fan, so it probably wouldn’t be too much of a problem to get Cavill to take on a role in the film adaptation of George RR Martin’s novel.
