Amazon is in negotiations to sign this adaptation based on the adventures of Kratos, which will soon receive a new game: God of War Ragnarok.
God of War will be the next video game adaptation to make the leap to a television series. Amazon Prime Video is in negotiations to sign this live-action series that is based on the Santa Monica Studio games, Deadline reports. PlayStation Productions has The Last of Us and a Twisted Metal series in the, a Ghost of Tsushima movie,and the recently released Uncharted , which stars Tom Holland.
This medium says that the series will feature the creators and executive producers of The Expanse , Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby – Oscar-nominated for Children of men and also responsible for the script of Iron Man -, in addition to the executive producer and showrunner of The wheel of time . Kratos’ adventure will join other licenses such as Resident Evil or Halo , for Netflix and Paramont+ respectively, which will also have series, and Amazon also signed the Fallout and Mass Effect series.; even Nintendo has opened the possibility of taking advantage of its licenses -again- in the cinema with an animated Mario movie .
There is no mention of one of the big questions of this production: who will play Kratos, a character who stands out for his physique. Currently Christopher Judge -Teal’c in Stargate – gives voice and gestures to the protagonist.
