Fans waiting for the sequel to Gladiator can check out some new information about it. These reports show that Ridley Scott is slowly completing the cast of the show.
It would seem that Gladiator is one of the few films that should not get a sequel. After all, the story shown by Ridley Scott did not suggest that a sequel would ever be made.
However, the director was of a different opinion and some time ago he started working on the next part. And although the project was not heard of for several months, Gladiator 2 returns like a phoenix from the ashes.
As reported by Puck News , Ridley Scott began looking for actors to play the lead roles in the production. This does not mean, however, that work on the set of Gladiator 2 will definitely start this year.
Please note that Ridley Scott is currently busy finishing Napoleon, a film about the history of the French emperor. Apart from that, he is also involved in several other projects, so his calendar seems to be full.
The director, however, is known for the fact that his films are made relatively quickly. And according to some information, there is a chance that work on the set of Gladiator 2 will start in May this year.
This would mean that the show would appear in cinemas next year. More likely, however, fans will have to wait until at least 2025 or even longer.
