Amazon does not waste time and in 2022 it will start the production of “Fallout”. The series developing the Bethesda universe will be developed by an experienced director who worked, among others, on “Westworld”.
In 2022, we are unlikely to hear about a new game from the Fallout universe, however, Bethesda, in cooperation with Amazon, may have a lot to say about a different position set in an atmospheric universe. The editors of Variety presented the first details of the production announced in July last year .
Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner became the showrunners of the show – looking at the achievements of the creators, their engagement seems quite interesting. Robertson-Dworet is known for his 2018 screenplay for “Tomb Raider” and for “Captain Marvel”, while Wagner has worked on series such as “Silicon Valley”, “Portlandia”, “Baskets” and “The Office.”
Journalists revealed that Jonathan Nolan (director and screenwriter of “Westworld” and creator of the story from “Interstellar”, “The Dark Knight Rises”, “The Dark Knight”, “Prestige”) will direct the first episode.
Amazon Studios and Kilter Films will be responsible for the production, but it is worth noting that representatives of Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks are also involved in the project.
According to the editorial staff of Deadline, work on the set of “Fallout” will begin in 2022.
