However, it’s still an Eli Roth movie.
According to Deadline, Tim Miller will be directing re-shoots for Borderlands, as the original director of the film – Eli Roth – is unavailable due to his work on the horror film Thanksgiving.
Miller will only be working on the film for about two weeks, so it doesn’t look like the film is going to change much.
Principal photography for the adaptation ended in the summer of 2021 and was expected to release in 2022, but the film still doesn’t even have a trailer, and it’s unclear when to expect news about it.
The process of filming is not so rare for a movie. Most often, they resort to it when the studio did not like something in the existing materials and they want to finalize the picture.
